Who Am I?
Hello! I’m Adyn Polen, a graphic designer and illustrator local to the Ridgefield and Vancouver, WA area with a love and passion for creating visuals that tell stories and spark emotion! When I'm sketching new concepts, reworking old projects, or crafting polished designs I aim to create pieces that connect with people and make complex ideas feel more clear and engaging. Every new project is an opportunity for me to explore, experiment, and discover the best ways to bring visions to reality.
I approach my work with much curiosity, care, and a strong willingness to try new things. I enjoy collaborating closely with clients so that I can understand their goals better, answer any questions they may have, and shape the creative direction together. However I’m equally comfortable working independently when the project calls for it! My work style is flexible and adaptable, I try to initially blend a bit of illustration with graphic design so that I can experiment with different techniques and tailor my process to fit the needs of a specific project.
The heart of my work is connection, I strive to create designs that feel personal, thoughtful, and reflect the people I collaborate with. I aim to create visuals that are memorable and purposeful while still leaving room for my own creativity and experimentation. In any project I approach I want that experience and work to feel intentional and collaborative not just for me, but for everyone! To me design is more than just making things look pretty, it’s about telling stories and evoking emotions in such a captivating way.
